2013

2013 Fantasy Football Season:

After last year's championship game, Team THUNDER is rolling right along!  I plan to improve on last year's 8-5 regular season record.

I've never studied the books or read the magazines.  I've been learning on my own.  I've developed my own strategies.  This is my 5th year playing fantasy.  My first 3 years I pretty much fielded .500 teams, making the playoffs once.

Here's what I've learned thus far...

2008 : Don't play too much with your heart (I think I drafted 9 players from my favorite 2 teams).

2009 : Don't overdraft quarterbacks, kickers, or defenses -- there are plenty.

2010 : Don't worry about a good balance of wide receivers and running backs -- just grab the players with the most upside, players you intend to start.

2011: On the day of the draft, do listen or watch fantasy news so you don't miss important injuries (like Peyton Manning) and then get drunk and play football in the back yard and piss everyone off and then make bad trades with your boss to get in his good graces and then sweat the waiver wire all year.

2012: Don't get too creative or cute with your lineup the first couple games.

Without further ado, here is my 2013 fantasy football season in chronological order.  You can hit "NEXT" at the end of each story if you wish to read it straight through...
