I'm keeping a close eye on PEYTON HILLIS. The reports have been good from training camp. In his first game, he ran 4 times for 41 yards, out-rushing teammate Jamal Charles (4-12). Hillis will be a great bonus if he continues to perform well.

KEVIN SMITH took a knew to the quads recently but appears to be fine. Reports are that he has a lock on the starter's job. I've had nothing but good luck using him as a sub in recent years and look forward to what he can do as the main man in Detroit.
After a tense wait, CEDRIC BENSON has a home -- in Green Bay. He's playing for the league minimum. Most fantasy owners are probably not thrilled with the whole scenario, but I think he might be worth hanging onto for a few weeks just to see what happens.
If I were to submit a Week 1 lineup right now, it may look something like this:
RB: Adrian Peterson
RB: Kevin Smith
WR: Dez Bryant
WR: Victor Cruz
TE: Jermichael Finley
K: Mason Crosby
D: Buffalo Bills
